Difficult to assemble, need power tools etc. Purchased for my daughter and son in law. They had to borrow my drill, I am dissapointed that they would need a drill and the chair is not pre manufactured for assembly. They never did get it assembled. It's a nice chair for a handy man with the right tools.
Nice piece of furniture for the $$,

I really enjoy this rocking chair. It is comfortable enough without a cushion, but a cushion on the seat adds a nice touch. If you're not capable of assembling a piece of furniture, though, don't buy it. My husband put it together and commented that it was more involved than we thought it would be when we ordered it. All in all, though, it's a nice rocker for my newborn that didn't break the budget.

This type of wood or veneer is nearly impossible to assemble. The manufacturer did not place pre-drilled holes where the screws need to go and even our power drill could not create holes deep enough for the screws to be secured entirely. We were able to assemble the chairs, but the screws are not drilled in all the way. I honestly do not even feel safe sitting in the chairs, but it is probably too late to return them. DO NOT BUY THIS CHAIR. Also, we bought the side table in walnut and it was not the same color.
