I bought this chair and was initially pleased. It was easy to assemble, matched my other furniture perfectly and perfomed perfectly. Unfortunately, the chair fell apart within 10 days. While rocking gently, the chair began to squeal. I stopped immediately and turned the chair over to investigate. I found that a screw intended to stabilize the front leg had instead split that leg, making the chair unstable.

I contacted the seller via Amazon, received an immediate response and was offered a replacement or my money back. I opted for a replacement that was shipped in a timely manner. I assembled it and again used it for less than two weeks. This time there was no warning. While rocking gently the chair simply gave way and sent me to the floor. When I surveyed the damage I found that once again the screw intended to stabilize the leg was at fault. This time it completely missed the leg and actually held nothing.
