After an active day of playing or learning, today's child benefits from a comfortable chair in which to drop and unwind. Lipper International offers just the seat for reading, reflection, and relaxation with this child's rocking chair. Suitable for children three years and up, the chair's low seat enables the child to crawl up with ease and rock at one's own inclination. The rocker's simple style blends well in many rooms' décor, from the kitchen to the playroom to the bedroom.

Made in Thailand, the rocking chair features beech wood construction for durability through the years. A non-toxic red finish enhances the chair's appearance and also thwarts splinters. The chair's two-slat ladderback ensures adequate back support, while armrests and a footrest further extend comfort. To clean, wipe the rocker down with a soft damp cloth. Dry immediately to prevent damage to the wood. The rocking chair's design best befits indoor use. The set also is available in natural, pecan, and white finishes. Upon delivery, some assembly is required. The rocking chair measures 14-1/2 by 19-3/4 by 23-3/4 inches. This item weighs 12 pounds upon shipping. --Jessica Reuling

My 1 year old daughter loves this rocking chair. We got it for her because I had a red rocking chair when I was little. She will sit in it to watch her sign language DVD. She tries to rock it but is still too small to do it herself. She also likes to push it around the family room and play with it as a toy.

My grandson loves the rocker... it's a sturdy little chair that should last for generations. Although there was an assembly issue, the company responded appropriately, and I was very pleased with the finished product!

Once assembled, the chair is sturdy and looks good, but you may want to block out some extra time to assemble it. The hex wrench that comes with it is a SAE 5/32, but the screws appear to be metric, so the wrench doesn't fit snugly in the socket. Coupled with the fact that the pilot holes are not large enough for the screw, and you will end up spending way too much time putting the chair together, your hands will be sore, and you will probably have scratches on the wood from the hex wrench slipping out of the socket multiple times. If you purchase this, you should also purchase a metric hex set, unless you want to be up till 1:30AM like I was.
